Jerk is a spice rub used throughout Jamaica to flavor and preserve meat and vegetables. The meats are usually prepared to perfection over a pimento wood fire. This unique bar is a true homage to Jamaica where we pair its local cocoa beans with a traditional Jamaican flavor. Even if you don't like flavored bars, this is one you definitely want to try out.

Before leaving our chocolate lab, each item is checked for quality after which they are carefully packaged. We ensure all our products leave our Chocolate lab in good order and with reasonable shelf life. However, we cannot control what happens in transit and we are unable to offer returns due to the perishable nature of our products.
We consolidate and ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In-stock items are packaged for shipping on those days immediately after payment is cleared.
During summer months, we generally avoid allowing your chocolate to sit in transit over weekends and holidays. Therefore, if the shipping option overlaps a weekend or holiday, your order may ship the following week.
After payment confirmation and purchase is finalized, a shipment notification with tracking information will be emailed to the email address submitted with the order. Once we have shipped your order, Pure Chocolate Limited is no longer responsible for loss, damages or delays. All additional duties, fees, or taxes incurred upon receipt of the item is the responsibility of the customer.
Once we have handed over your package to the carrier we are no longer responsible for loss, damages or delays. Although your item might be insured, you accept the risk of loss and title for that order upon our delivery of your order to the carrier. Pure Chocolate Limited is not liable for lost or stolen purchases and releases responsibility upon transfer of your order to the shipping carrier, and cannot be held responsible for any additional charges incurred if packages are returned to our location due to customer absence, errors in shipping addresses or package refusal.
We are unable to ship to PO Boxes - we can ship to physical addresses only! Additional shipping charges resulting from packages returned to Pure Chocolate Limited due to customer absence, errors in shipping addresses or package refusal will be your responsibility. If you happen to change your mind and refuse a shipment from us, you remain responsible for all original shipping charges, and the cost(s) of returning the package to us.
Due to governing laws in Jamaica, all products include a 15% tax (GCT), regardless of country of final destination. Any additional fees or taxes incurred outside of Jamaica has not been accounted for in the pricing and will be the responsibility of the receiving party.
Due to corona virus restrictions, deliveries might experience unforeseen delays on both international and domestic orders. We cannot guarantee any delivery times at this moment but will always inform you when we ship your package off so you are able to track your order.
Locally, curb side pickup is available. If you live in Jamaica and would like to pick up your order at our chocolate lab in Trelawny please indicate that in delivery option at checkout. We do charge a minimal handling/packing fee.
Payments must be processed prior to pick-up after which we will send you an email when your order is ready for you. Items purchased are held in our facility for 48 hours after which we consider it abandoned.All international orders are shipped via DHL Express within five (5) business days of confirming your purchase and payment is received.
You will receive an email with DHL tracking information for your order as soon as it ships. For other tracking questions or concerns, please visit www.dhl.com.Please note that your order might be subject to additional import or custom duties and taxes once your shipment reaches your country, when ordering from our website you agree to be responsible for these costs.
We reserve the right to hold an order if we think it is too hot (this usually means over 100 degrees Fahrenheit / 37 degrees Celsius). We also reserve the right to call you and ask if you want to upgrade your shipping if we believe that the warm weather will prevent your chocolate from arriving safely.
We would be glad to try to accommodate exceptions to these rules but we will need a phone call: (1-876-352-1934).
We highly recommend shipping to an address where someone will be able to receive the package when delivered. Many times DHL will not leave the package outside of your home. If that is the case, they will try to deliver the package three more times before it is returned to us. If the DHL deliveryman does decide to leave the chocolate outside your home, it may be damaged by weather that is too hot, cold, rainy or humid. Suggestion: If you are shipping to someone's home and they will be at work during the day, consider shipping the chocolate to the recipient at their office.
